Background
As a creative writer for 17 years and a UX writer for 5, I've designed digital experiences for a wide range of businesses from one-person start ups to Fortune 100 Companies. I've chosen to dedicate my time and effort to helping small businesses because
I value closer human connections and partnerships, not transactions.
No one knows their business better than its owner, and you are an invaluable resource in crafting a website that connects with your users' emotions, convinces them that you're worth it, and converts them into customers.
Our Work
Showcasing websites that connect, convince, and convert.
The Greatest Mentor
The Challenge: The Greatest Mentor required a strategically designed website to serve as a key component of their marketing funnel—one that effectively showcased their distinctive business model and value proposition.
The Solution: I designed a mobile-friendly Squarespace site with clean, modern visuals and wrote SEO-optimized copy for their Home, About, and Services pages. I worked intentionally to make the experience human-centric, ensuring the content appealed to users’ emotions as they navigated the site. Because the business is spiritual and religious-based, the copy was crafted to exude compassion, understanding, and a non-judgmental tone. Clear calls-to-action guided visitors toward booking a session.
The Outcome: The new site feels inviting, loads quickly, and is already ranking higher for local wellness keywords. Clients can now book sessions directly online with ease, while also feeling supported and understood as they explore the offerings.
Telekit
The Challenge: Telekit, a business phone service solution for small business owners, was preparing for production release but their website wasn’t effectively communicating the product’s value or unique selling points. They needed a clear strategy to position themselves against competitors, refine their messaging, and build a stronger digital presence across both their website and social media.
The Solution: I conducted competitor analysis, mapped user journeys, and proposed a new sitemap with clear information architecture. I then wrote SEO-optimized copy that reflected Telekit’s brand voice and guided users from awareness to conversion. To support their marketing, I created social media guidelines, planned content informed by competitor insights, and added Features and Solutions pages with testimonials to showcase value.
The Outcome: Telekit launched with a refreshed website and social media strategy that clearly communicated their unique value, strengthened their market positioning, and provided a more persuasive customer journey from discovery through decision-making.
MMD Services
The Challenge: MMD Services, a certified women-owned staffing and recruiting agency, was experiencing rapid growth but their website was outdated, visually underwhelming, and overloaded with text. Because they serve both hiring managers and candidates, the site struggled to provide clear, distinct pathways for each audience, making navigation and messaging confusing.
The Solution: I conducted competitor analysis, mapped user journeys, and developed user stories to uncover key goals and pain points. From there, I proposed a new sitemap and information architecture, crafted concise SEO copy aligned with MMD’s brand voice, and designed wireframes and UI that simplified execution for their developer.
The Outcome: MMD launched a modern, user-friendly website that clearly distinguished between hiring managers and candidates, offered intuitive navigation, and presented content in a streamlined, engaging way. The new design reduced cognitive load, kept users engaged longer, and more accurately reflected the company’s brand and services.
LDC Interiors
The Challenge: LDC Interiors, a design and build construction company, was growing slowly and struggling to attract customers through their website. Their online presence wasn’t generating meaningful traffic, and they wanted to expand their reach through both their website and social media channels.
The Solution: I conducted competitor analysis, mapped user journeys, and developed user stories to better understand LDC’s audience needs. Using these insights, I proposed a new sitemap and information architecture, wrote copy with local SEO strategies, and designed their website with a website builder. To support long-term growth, I also created a social media marketing plan that outlined how to launch their channels and publish targeted content.
The Outcome: Within two months of launch, LDC saw a 232% increase in organic traffic and a 600% increase in organic search sessions within four months. Three months after launch, they were accredited by the Better Business Bureau, signaling stronger credibility and business growth fueled by their improved online presence.

Optimal Fitness Solutions
The Challenge: Optimal Fitness Solutions’ website was not generating traffic or conversions. The site lacked engaging content, clear calls-to-action, and user-friendly navigation, making it difficult to communicate their mission and services effectively.
The Solution: I conducted competitor analysis, mapped user journeys, and developed user stories to better understand user needs. With these insights, I proposed a new sitemap and information architecture, crafted SEO-focused copy aligned with OFS’s brand voice and fitness philosophy, and designed the UI using a website builder. The content emphasized the company’s mission, services, and credibility while encouraging users to take action throughout their journey.
The Outcome: The new website established OFS’s authority and credibility, presented services in a clear and scannable format, and delivered a design that emotionally connected with users. With improved navigation, strategic calls-to-action, and content tailored to their audience, the site became more engaging, informative, and conversion-focused.
CTS, LLC
The Challenge: C.T.S. LLC, a provider of occupational, speech, and early intervention child therapy, needed to revamp their website to make it more user-friendly, comprehensive, and impactful. Their existing site did not clearly communicate their services or highlight the value they bring to children and families.
The Solution: I conducted competitor analysis and collaborated with stakeholders to identify the company’s unique selling points. Using these insights, I proposed a new sitemap and information architecture, crafted localized SEO copy that clearly outlined services and their benefits, and updated the UI to create a more accessible, engaging experience—all built in a website builder.
The Outcome: The redesigned website effectively communicated C.T.S. LLC’s services and value to parents, improved usability through streamlined navigation, and offered a more approachable design that better reflected their mission of supporting children’s growth and development.
Prosodica
The Challenge: Prosodica provides an enterprise-grade voice and speech analytics engine that businesses use to gain insights into customer experiences, employee engagement, and satisfaction. Their marketing website was copy-heavy, filled with technical jargon, and failed to engage or convert users while not clearly telling Prosodica’s unique story.
The Solution: I collaborated with product owners to understand Prosodica’s mission, vision, values, and target audiences. Conducting competitor analysis, I proposed a new sitemap and information architecture aligned with the company’s goals. Following B2B/B2C website best practices, I designed a site that mirrored the marketing funnel, guiding users from awareness to acquisition. Copy was streamlined to reduce cognitive load, highlight unique selling points, and strategically place CTAs, while new pages like Product Overview and About (Our Mission, Our Story, Leadership) humanized the brand and showcased credibility.
The Outcome: The redesigned website provides users with clear, engaging content that communicates Prosodica’s value and solutions. Cognitive load is reduced, key information is easy to find, and CTAs guide users naturally through the funnel. The About and Product Overview pages effectively convey the company’s story, expertise, and leadership, resulting in a more persuasive and humanized brand experience.
Free Climb
The Challenge: FreeClimb, a cloud-based API for building telephony applications, had a developer documentation site that lacked a clearly defined target user, consistent language, comprehensive information architecture, and a user-friendly interface. This made it difficult for developers to quickly find the information they needed and engage effectively with the platform.
The Solution: I conducted user interviews, mapped workflows, and performed competitor analysis to understand developer needs and pain points. Using these insights, I reorganized the information architecture and content taxonomy, proposed new landing page content, implemented an internal documentation linking strategy, and updated all existing content. The goal was to create intuitive pathways and navigation that delivered the right information at the right time, enhancing usability, engagement, and overall conversion potential.
The Outcome: The revamped documentation site now provides developers with a clear, organized, and user-friendly experience. Users can navigate content more efficiently, understand FreeClimb’s offerings, and access the information they need quickly, resulting in improved engagement, satisfaction, and a stronger foundation for developer adoption.

Why shouldn't I use an AI website builder?
AI falls short when building websites because it cannot fully understand human emotions, brand personality, or the nuanced needs of your audience.
